Hours

We are open Monday - Friday from 10am to 5:30pm. It is best to call during these times. If it is after hours or a weekend please send a email. Sometimes I do have weddings on weekdays so it is best to call and make an appointment before coming to the studio.

 

General FAQ

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are right beside Haynes at 5312 Virginia Beach Blvd , Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.

 

Q: Do you charge a retainer / deposit?

A: Yes we charge a retainer fee to save your date. For more information on this contact me to set up a meeting!

 

Q: Do you have a studio?

A: Yes! My studio is equipped to fit up to 6 people (adults) in front of one backdrop. Photos of my studio can be found here.

 

Q: How many images do we receive from a photo shoot?

A: You will see 50 images in your gallery from a 1 hour photo shoot. If you choose the smaller 30 min shoot you will see 25 images.

 

Q: How long do you leave the images in the online gallery?

A: Your images are in a privet online gallery on my website for a unlimited amount of time! You can purchase prints and products a year after your wedding or photo session! If I ever need to move or shut down a gallery I would let you know but I do not put a limit or charge extra for hosting your gallery for a long period.


Q: Do you accept credit card payments?

A: Yes! Cash, Credit card, or Check. I can take credit cards over the phone and email the contract to you as well.


Q: What is a print release?

A: When purchasing digital images you sign a print release. This means that you can have the images printed else where (I do have suggestions). I still hold the copyrights to the image with the right to use them on my website and in any advertising. I do ask that you do not edit the images (excluding cropping for printing). If you would like any image edited you can ask me to do so. Most edits are not a extra cost.

 

Q: How much is shipping on prints and products?

A: Currently shipping is $8 for local shipments. Inquire about shipping in other states.

 

 

Bride FAQ

Q: How do we know you are the right photographer for us?

A: Ask yourself these questions: Do you love the photos I have displayed here ? Do you prefer photojournalistic or traditional photo? (Our style is a mix of photojournalistic with the traditional posed photos). Am I within your budget? (I do offer a bridal registry and payment plans if cost is a concern).

 

Q: Do you have backup equipment?

A: Yes I bring a backup camera, backup lenses, and extra flashes to every wedding.

 

Q: How much time do you spend at our wedding?

A: If you purchase a full day wedding service we arrive about a half an hour before you start to get ready for your big day and leave when you are ready to have us go. Hourly Packages are also avalible!

 

Q: Will you be the only photographer at our wedding?

A: Weddings that are 4 hours or more will include two photographers. I photograph weddings that are three hours or less by myself.

 

Q: Do you have any suggestions for vendors or any tips?

A: I do have helpful blog posts for brides here. During your consultation I will suggest other vendors and when you book you can take this information home in my contract booklet.

 

Q: How many images do we receive in our online gallery and/or on our CD?

A: If we cover a full day you will get 300+ images in your gallery and on your CD (if purchased).

 

Printing

Prints are available in your online gallery. Prints up to 24"x36" can be ordered! High quality and unique products such as metal prints and canvas wraps are also available. 

Editing

We do a simple clean edit of all of your photos. If you would like anything in black & white leave a comment in your gallery on the photos that you would like edited. Edits like removing things from a photo or changing a background will cost extra.
